Review editing and album selections

Review the submission

Editing and album selections are separate decisions. A client may pick an image for both, either or neither. Do not treat a draft tap as a final submitted choice.

1. Open Photo selections or the project gallery.
2. Identify the selection purpose: editing or album.
3. Open the submitted selection and review chosen photos, notes and any requested changes.

Filter, export and approve

An over-target selection can apply additional billing when the studio approves, not when the client submits. Approval makes the client selection read-only; review the set and agreed overage before confirming. A billing warning may require a separate money check even if approval succeeds.

1. On the review page, use Selection request to switch between Editing photos and Album selection when both exist.
2. Use Review filter → All files, Selected or With comments. Open Comments for a photo to read its notes.
3. Use Copy filenames for a comma-separated list, or Download CSV for file name, file type, client and comments. Both are disabled when no photos are selected.
4. Choose Approve Selection, read the selected count and confirmation, then choose Approve. Check the resulting Approved state and any overage-billing message.

Let the client correct a submitted set

After approval, Continue editing or Assign album design opens the project team handoff for that selection purpose. It does not itself assign a person or finish production.

1. Use Reopen for Client from the review actions and confirm Reopen.
2. The request returns to Shared so the client can edit and submit again.
3. Review the new submission before approving; previous choices and comments are preserved when reopened.

Work with the selected files

Use the selected collection or folder to hand work to the editor or album designer. Originals should remain in the studio source collection; moving a file in a personal arrangement should not silently change the other person’s view. Reopen a locked selection only when the client needs to change a submitted set.
