Run a project after booking
Use one project for production, files, tasks and client delivery.
Open the project
The project belongs to the confirmed job. Do not create a second project simply because a file or task is missing. Assign asset appears only where legacy equipment assignment is enabled; it does not create a new asset record.
- Open Projects and search for the job, or use Open project from its booking.
- Review Overview for status and linked work.
- Use Production for stage work, Team for assignments, Tasks for deadlines and Timeline for history.
- Choose Add task for new project work, Assign member for its production team, or Add deliverable for an agreed output. Use Review selection for submitted client picks and Review delivery for the client handoff.
Choose the correct workspace
Production files are private to the studio and assigned crew. Gallery is for client-facing collections under their own access rules. Deliverables tracks the agreed output; Notes and Timeline retain context. Completing a task or changing a stage does not itself upload or share a client file.
Complete a stage or resolve a blocker
On a project with agreed scope, Manage agreed work and Open agreed work and changes open the booking agreement. A stage completion control can stay disabled until the current checks pass. Edit project changes the project fields; it does not silently edit its booking receipt or client delivery.
- Read Workflow checks and the listed requirements before choosing Complete stage or Complete project.
- Use Booking and payment for a money blocker, View tasks for open tasks, or View deliverables for unfinished output.
- Correct the source record, then choose Refresh checks. Retry checks is for a failed requirements read.
- When a progress warning says production stages are complete but open tasks remain, open Tasks and close or replan the real work before closing the job.
