Record actual money movement
Record the amount received, payment method and date against the booking. Use the refund action for money returned and void an incorrect receipt instead of entering another compensating charge.
The invoice and booking balance depend on active receipts, including refunds. Review a saved-with-recovery-warning message before entering another receipt; the original payment may already be saved.
Separate types of money
Client receipts, studio expenses and the WhatsApp wallet serve different purposes. Recording a crew payout records money paid outside the app; it does not transfer money to the member.
The current product primarily presents INR. A studio currency setting is not proof that every document and report supports currency conversion.
