Add gear, record its serial and purchase information, then track availability or maintenance.

Add an asset
Statuses are Available, In Use, Maintenance and Retired. The asset record is an inventory entry; changing it does not assign a camera to a booking automatically.
- Open Assets and choose Add Asset.
- Enter the required Name and choose Category and Status.
- Optionally add Brand, Model, Purchase Price, Purchase Date, Serial Number and Notes.
- Choose Add Asset and find the saved card in the list.
Find, edit or delete
If an asset disappears after saving, clear search and status/category filters first. Use Maintenance instead of deleting a real item that is temporarily unavailable.
- Use search for a name, brand or model; use the category filter and status summary to narrow the list.
- Open the asset actions menu → Edit, change details and choose Save Changes.
- Use Delete only for an invalid record and review its confirmation.
