Turn an enquiry into a booking
Keep one connected record from discussion to production.
Record what is known
Enter the client contact, event type and dates. Add location, functions and package only when they apply. A wedding may have a Haldi on a separate date; a studio portrait usually needs one session.
Agree the scope
Open the enquiry and prepare a quotation. Review the package inclusions, quantities, prices and dates before sharing the PDF. Save a draft when the client is still deciding.
Confirm booking when the client agrees. The job links its project, invoice and production tasks. Once a booking exists, open that booking instead of creating another conversion.
Recover interrupted setup
If confirmation saved the booking but a dependent record failed, reopen the booking and use its setup retry. Check for an existing booking before creating a second record. The agreed quotation remains a historical document; changing a catalogue package later does not rewrite it.
