Read and edit an invoice
Find the bill for a booking, check its details and track receipts.
Find an invoice
A confirmed booking can create an invoice. If the linked invoice is missing, use the booking’s setup recovery before manually producing another job.
- Open Invoices and use search or status filters.
- Select the invoice to inspect its number, client, booking, amount and due state.
- Open the Payments tab to see receipts associated with it.
Record a receipt from the invoice
The invoice payment form records against its linked booking. If a save returns an uncertain result, refresh the existing receipts before retrying so the client is not charged twice in the ledger.
To correct an existing receipt, use its Actions menu → Edit or Void payment. Void asks for confirmation and keeps the old receipt in the audit history while recalculating the balance.
- Open the correct invoice and choose Record Payment or Record first payment when the Payments area is empty.
- Enter only the amount actually received, payment type, method and date, then save once.
- Reopen Payments and check the receipt and remaining balance before entering another payment.
Edit details and share
Use Edit on the invoice only for fields the current status permits. Save and review the regenerated document before sharing or downloading. A changed document amount is not a client payment; record cash received through Payments or the booking Money tab.
