Keep walk-in portraits and passport sessions simple while preserving the job record.
Start from the work being purchased
A passport session might need a name, a contact, the number of copies and an agreed amount. A maternity session may need a date, location, selected images and editing time. Neither should inherit a wedding album or drone crew just because a default package included them.
Keep one connected job
Use the appropriate event type and purchased services. An already agreed session can start with a direct booking; a client comparing options can start as an enquiry. Link the receipt and final files to that same job so a returning client is easy to help.
