Give your editor a clear handoff

Source quality, scope and review notes matter more than another status badge.

Send the source and the assignment together

Assign the editor to the project, place originals in its production files and add a task describing the deliverable and due date. A chat that only says “edit this” leaves the editor guessing which selection, export size and deadline apply.

Separate return from approval

Let the editor return a new file without overwriting the source. The studio can approve the result or leave a specific revision note. After approval, prepare the client delivery gallery; private editing files should not become public because an upload finished.
