## Find the right task

Search, status and priority filters can hide an existing task. A direct task link may say it is unavailable when that task has been archived or is outside the current studio.

1. Open Tasks from Products or the desktop navigation.
2. Use Search tasks to find a title. Open Filter to switch between Active tasks and Archived tasks or narrow active work by status and priority.
3. In the default active view, scan Overdue, Due today, This week, Upcoming, No due date and Completed. Open the linked record on a task card when you need the booking or project behind it.

## Add or edit a task

An assigned team member receives task context through their permitted workspace. Changing a task does not change the linked booking schedule or complete a client delivery.

1. Choose Add Task, enter the required Title and optionally add Workflow stage, Description, Priority, Status, Due Date and Assign To when team members are available.
2. Choose Add Task and wait for the save to finish.
3. To change an existing task, open its actions menu, choose Edit, change the fields and choose Save changes. Cancel closes the form; if you have unsaved edits, review the discard prompt before leaving.

## Finish, reopen, archive or restore

Archive preserves the task for recovery. Check the archived view before creating a duplicate because a task appears missing.

1. Use the round Complete control on an active task to mark it done; use Reopen if work remains.
2. Use the actions menu and choose Archive when a task should leave active views. Add an optional reason and confirm Archive task.
3. Open Filter, switch View to Archived tasks, then choose Restore on the card to return it to the active list.
