# Search the studio activity timeline

Trace recent edits and open the source record before making another change.

## Find an event

Events are grouped by day and show the action and timestamp. The page loads the latest 500 studio events; when there are more, the displayed count describes this recent window.

1. Open Activity or Timeline from Products.
2. Use Activity type in Filter to narrow to a record type, or Search events for action or detail text.
3. Open the matching record link to inspect its current state.

## Understand what the log proves

An activity entry records that an action was recorded at a time; it does not replace the current booking, invoice, payment or gallery state. If a saved change looks wrong, open the linked record and its own timeline, then correct it through that module’s Edit or payment action. Clear the filter when a known event seems missing.
