# Set client gallery selection and download permissions

Decide exactly what a client may view, select, comment on or download.

## Configure access before sharing

A client can view a preview even when downloads are off. A low-resolution download permission is not the same as original-quality access. Check the settings before copying the invitation link.

1. Open the project gallery and review Client permissions.
2. Enable Photo selections when the client should choose images; set target and deadline if needed.
3. Enable Comments only if notes should be accepted.
4. Set Downloads, Original download and Video downloads independently according to what you intend to release.

## After a selection is submitted

Submitted selections become locked for the client until the studio reopens them. Editing and album requests have separate chosen sets. Download access can also depend on payment state, so use Refresh access & payments in the client view after recording a receipt.


## Verify from the client side

Open the client invitation as that client in a separate session. Confirm which selection request is visible, whether notes work, and whether the expected Download action appears. Do not use the owner’s gallery preview as proof of client permissions.
